Thank you for your courage, your honesty, and your wonderful writing. Speaking only for myself, I think your voice and perspectives are enormously valuable to the movement to support women's sex-based rights around the world. I'm so glad to be able to provide links to your excellent artcles in GC News.

Thanks Lee. I have to say the number of great people I met online and in real life is higher than the number of abusers and this is encouraging.

Sorry to hear of the grief you've had dealing with the "Tranish Inquisition". Although there are encouraging signs that the tide is starting to turn.

Given the number of people who've been kicked off Twitter for similar "trans-gressions", maybe it's time for a class-action suit against Twitter themselves. Of maybe some interest on that score is my "Open Letter" to Twitter some 3 years ago about my own defenestration there, and that of several others, Megan Murphy in particular:

Of maybe more topical interest is my recent article on "Wikipedia's Lysenkoism" about my "sad tale" of getting defenestrated there also for objecting to their article on transwoman and Olympian Laurel Hubbard which claimed that "she" had "transitioned to female":

Points for "Tranish Inquisition", Steersman!

Bit of a follow-up; I did some digging and it seems that the earliest use of that phrase is by:

"William Ray ... a member of the Canadian association of Journalists. [his work] has appeared in the National Post, The Toronto Star, Esprit De Corps and Quillette Magazine."

https://archive.ph/RJCqO

Archive link as the original article at Medium has been deleted because it is (still) "under investigation or was found in violation of the Medium Rules."

https://medium.com/@williamray/the-tranish-inquisition-clearly-shows-the-orwellian-nature-of-our-electronic-agora-42883c79a180

One good reason, of several, to abandon Medium for Substack.

Under investigation/in violation! These platforms are all parodies of themselves!

Yeah. So far, Substack is bucking the trend.

Ran across this the other day that provides some reason why that's the case:

"Why So Many Mainstream Media Figures Really Hate Substack"

https://mindmatters.ai/2021/08/why-so-many-mainstream-media-figures-really-hate-substack/

But as William Ray's article illustrates, even many of the WordPress sites and the like apply the heavy hand of censorship. For example, last night I'd commented on one such site objecting to a claim that "transwomen aren't male" but my comment (below) has apparently been deleted because I objected to that rather odious bit of transdogma:

"Raging Bee:

'And transwomen aren’t male.'

https://www.wehuntedthemammoth.com/2022/10/16/j-k-rowling-it-is-dangerous-to-assert-that-any-category-of-people-deserves-a-blanket-presumption-of-innocence/comment-page-2/#comment-3690537

Of course they are. The standard biological - and Google/Oxford-Dictionary - definition for 'male' is:

'of or denoting the sex that produces small, typically motile gametes, especially spermatozoa, with which a female may be fertilized or inseminated to produce offspring'

If a transwoman still has his nuts in working order then he is, ipso facto, a male. If he doesn't then he's a sexless eunuch."

Think part of the project of turning the transloonie tide is "calling out" such dogma ...

We need to cross our fingers and pray to God that Substack isn't bought out from under us.

🙂 Indeed.

Though Substack is a different "model" from regular newspapers and even various blogs. Substack gets their revenue directly from the "content producers" and their subscribers whereas newspapers and blogs get most of theirs from advertisers.

Even if Substack is bought out, the purchaser would probably recognize how and where their bread was buttered, and by whom.

🙂 Thanks, though I can't take credit for coining the phrase.

Not many hits on a Google search, and no clear indication, on recollection, of who can claim "paternity". 🙂 But certainly rather apt and entirely relevant. Definitely deserves a wider currency ... 😉

Thank you for everything you have done and are doing in this horrendous war on women and children in particular and reality in general.

Very unhappy to hear about your career and life detour. Civic elections are happening all over Canada currently. Anyone representing gender-critical views is smeared and/or ignored by mainstream press, school systems, the election system, and of course social media.

This is the REAL "deadly pandemic" trying to kill humans (and women above all).

It’s truly thought-provoking. Recently, I’ve been helping a friend who is researching Marxism and law to find a suitable PhD supervisor. While looking at some of your relevant academic papers, I thought you might be a potential PhD supervisor for my friend. So, I visited your profile at Leuphana Universität Lüneburg but couldn’t find an email address, which surprised me. I then searched your name on Google and discovered this website, where I learned about the difficulties you’ve faced. It’s astonishing how gender ideology bias can have such a profound impact. As someone from China, I know that transgender communities and feminists are still allies there. In China, the government’s rigid ideological control categorizes all gender issues as either ‘dangerous elements’ or ‘Western ideologies from abroad.’ Your experiences have made me realize the complexity of gender issues, and perhaps everyone needs to be prepared for these significant changes. Sincerely, I hope you find a new academic position smoothly (if you’re still planning to work at any university).

Another proof that the trans “rights” movement is just another sick iteration of men’s rights movement.
