Fascinating. Between the lines, it's clear that to these men "one’s place in life, one’s place in society" is subordinate for women and dominant for men. How convenient.

Harry Benjamin was an utter quack. He created a foundation. After his death, the transsexual endocrine quacks who carried on his work changed the name of that organization to WPATH.

I think Judge Handler, the judge in the M.T. v. J.T. case, committed three errors:

1) conflating sex and gender

2) believing that it is possible to change sex;

3) believing that there is a psychological component to sex. Spermatozoa do not read Freud's 'Introductory Lectures on Psychoanalysis' before fertilizing an ovum.

The judiciary has been so captured by Gender Identity ideology. In Maya Forstater's ET the judge dismissively referred to an absolutist view of biological sex. Evolution is absolutist!!

Alessandra, I saw your Twitter comment, that Press For Change would have preferred the term Gender Identity rather than the Protected Characteristic of Gender Reassignment.

You may be interested in my Substack post for changing the GRA:

https://mneill.substack.com/p/to-alister-jack-the-grr-scotland

It’s quite simple:

1. Replace the GRC with a DNIBS certificate that indicates that the holder Does Not Identify as his or her Birth Sex;

2. Include a second sex marker DNIBS (in addition to birth sex) on official documents where sex is relevant and necessary;

3. The person retains their birth sex and is protected from discrimination by the Protected Characteristic of DNIBS

I am still exchanging emails with the Equality Hub (part of the Cabinet Office) about the proposal before I see my MP about it on the 24th.

The next post describes the thinking behind the DNIBS acronym.

The next post suggests a change of language to avoid 'Trans' and make the debate clearly between Sex and Gender Identity:

Thank you Alessandra. I am working on two intitaives:

1. Reform/repeal of the GRA

2. Asking 23 Russell group universities in the UK to confim that sex is binary and immutable. Sussex Uni confirmed to me last year that a male observed at birth cannot become a biological female. I am repeating the exercise. It took me five emails/letters and about 8 day's of effort to get a statement from them!

The Equality Hub ( part of the UK Cabinet Offce) has told me that the universities are independent and cannot be requested to reply to my request for a position statement on the issue, so the "name and shame approach" may the way ahead. I am constructing a statement that the government seeks a position that sex is binary and immutable so that it can properly support my proposed amendment for the GRA amendment and the current debate on Conversion Therapy/ Conversion practices. As sex is immutable why would any medical professional affirm that a girl, for instance, should transition to be a boy? Any advice on my initiatives would be appreciated. The resistance from the Cabinet Office is both preposterous and frustrating. They responded to my statement about the binary and immutable nature as being one about gender: twice!! The degree of ideological capture is extreme.
